Long time no see :)
Hey all you old timers! It has been now 17 years since I took delivery of the hawk on 25 August 2001 for 2002 #35. I've been in SoCal for nearly 10 years, enjoying driving the hawk 3 stop lights through farm roads to work and back and loved every mile of it as no threat of snow and a short drive dow...

Funny thing was he wa telling me that the previous night he mentioned to his wife that most likely he will not see another Firehawk in Sunny SoCal and lo and behold I drive in to the Golf c...

take note you need a fireproof headsock if you have a motorcycle helmet and not an "SA" helmet
I found my shocks need replacing (bump stops cracked) as they're nearly 9 years old. Might want to check yours if they are original

8) Do ya hafta have a fire-extinguisher mounted within reach? yep. I found a nice place to put it. On the back of the rear seat. I just put it down when I run :) I use a flat mount into the seat (screw holes hide easy when removed) and mount the extinguisher into that. Passed tech, out of the way, ...

145.0 then 145.3 none3 and finally a 143.9 having trouble finding 5th (took me a couple seconds). The DA was 3000 feet at an actual 2700 feet (cloudy cool damp with a sprinkle a couple times). My initial goal was to do between 130-140 and shoot for 140, thus upgrading me from the 150 class to the 16...

I'll do the cruise that way I could say I did the skyline drive gathering and the rim of the world. I just remember the long ascent up to big bear when I was a kid and the lower radiator blew.

Re: To tint or not to tint?!
I'm going to tint my rear window. I'm looking at limo tint but I want to see out of it so I may go a little above it. Now that I live in sunny SoCal, tint will help reduce the heat and in long-term stop Dry Rot of the plastics and seats. Can't tint the sides as I go on bases and they abide by state ...
