I have ABS, but no TCS w/VIPER 690 alarm system - NO PROBLEMS for (4) years now Those VATS (vehicle anti-theft system), as they are called, can create problems. Did your SES light activate? :?: Occasionally, my security light will activate itself when I start the engine, but then dissappear shortly ...

Why have you had to replace the plugs a third time already? Nice Hawk, were did you come up with the air lid? Replaced @ 40K (no reason, just inspecting and getting set for my Drag Racing season).....and now at 84K. Stock SLP Blackwing airlid, and just clearcoated w/Firehawk decal emblem I located ...

Had Denso originally and have replaced twice now w/NGK TR55 Part #3951, unless you are running N02. 3-1 price ratio between the (2) plugs. Even w/SLP tuning, not had any problems w/the NGK's. Got 40+K on the first set with some evidence of burning hot. Very inexpensive and reliable IMHO, but my ASE ...

Maybe somebody more knowledgable will post, but I seem to recall that the Auburn was the standard GM Diff on F-Bodies until around 2000. SLP had the optional Torsen dif, which then became the standard GM Diff around 2001. apparently the durability is not a problem, but SLP just had better specs or ...

Have both on my '02, and no complaints, but I did swap out the rear shocks/springs for personal reasons, totally unrelated. Great for SCCA type racing IMHO. Fantastic cornering response w/very little sway. Just make sure you keep up the service on your AAA rear diff. I have over 45 passes at the tra...
