Firehawk Pedals

Hi guys, I have a NOS set of the Dynoproauto aluminum pedals Firehawk engraved from years back. Happened upon them on Facebook Marketplace a few months back. I know they are rare, but are they sought after? I dont think I can bring myself to install something rare and valuable when a set of $30 Spar...

Billet pedals

Anyone know where I can find a set of the Billet Aluminum Firehawk pedals for a T56? I should have bought some back in the day when they came out and like an idiot I didn't.

Re: Trans Am Nationals in Dayton - Anyone going?

Another great show! Brain, congrats on First Place, I'll take second to that car anytime. Mac, it was good to meet you, I am looking at my Firehawk book as I type, it's gorgeous! Re: NORWALK

I'm not wanting to start a war but Y isn't this held at the same time as the T/A nats?? Wayne can explain it better as he started there, but I will try to give you an idea why: 1) We are not allowed to give out our own trophies. We can't have a car show with-in the car show. 2) We are not allowed t...

Re: Rim detail

Take them off one at a time and wash & wax them. Treat them just like you would painted surfaces of your car.

Re: Clutch issue

First thing to do is bleed the clutch with high temp fluid. Next step is replace the clutch master cylinder, especially if you have a 99-00 model, as GM redesigned the master in 01. After that, you have to take the trans out to replace the slave cylinder, and at that point you might as well upgrade ...

Re: Clutch Pedal

I just started this process with my car as well. Bled the clutch using Amsoil 600 series fluid last night, and the condition improved about 80%. Hopefully that buys me enough time until I have to start replacing parts. Only 32k on the car BTW.

Who has the Castrol Syntec package on thier LS1?

Where is the sticker located in the engine bay? I bought the sticker from Dave off ebay, but I am not sure where they put it at the factory.
Thanks

Re: This year's Firehawk Rally

OK Brian, I think I am getting a clearer picture now, thanks for clarifying. It truly is two shows in one, and I see your point about the entrance fee/membership dues. The only real issue I have is the pre-registration. I can understand having to pre-register for the dinner, as that is a perishable ...

Re: This year's Firehawk Rally

Ok, so if I understand this correctly, I would have to be a member of the FAOA in order to enter a car show that I might not attend if the weather is questionable? Why not drop that requirement and up the entry fee for non-members? 20-30$ per entry is not unreasonable. That’s the going rate for a hi...

Re: This year's Firehawk Rally

I would like to attend for the first time, but I am unsure as to what criteria have to be met in order to show? IIRC, its not like a regular show where I can just show up that weekend, right? Or is it?

Yes, very good, thank you. Basically what I took from it however was to find a professional. I doubt a road trip to Lemont, IL would be practical, so is there anyone in the Cincy area you know & trust?

Re: NEW TO F-BODIES, LOOKING FOR ADVICE ON WHAT I SHOULD BUY

Since he stated that he was looking for an 00-02 car, and more specifically an SOM car, I was refering to LS1 equipped cars only. I dont know as much about the LT1 cars.
