Re: 2 chrome firehawk wheels w/ drag radials

Pics of the barrels? Any pitting?
Bring them to the Pontiac Nationals this weekend. August 3rd and 4th. Might find someone there, including myself who may be interested.

Re: Stock 1994 SLP Exhaust Pix and Tips NEEDED

From what it shows here is that your car came with TOTL, but if your SLP sticker does not show it, then it would have the megaphone tips on it. TOTL has the 2 tips in the drivers side, nothing on the passenger side. From the research that I have found is that the 94 TOTL muffler was a little differe...

Re: Help with P0135 & P0420 SES codes on 97 Firehawk LT1 M6

As far as LT1 goes up to 95 they only had a single O2 sensor. In 96 and up they have at least 2 sensors. 1 before and 1 after the cat. Depending on year and how many catalytic converters they have

Sounds like the first 02 sensor it having issues. Start with that one. It controls the air fuel. The secondary is just telling you that after the cat that it is not in spec. If your miles are high, might consider changing both, but only the first one will affect how it is running.

Re: More suspension issues !

Are those the adjustable Koni's?

If so, see if you can soften them up a bit. One of my cars was turned up pretty good when I bought it, and it felt like that. Ajusted them down, and helped quite a bit.

Wheel restoration

Who did you use, and how much did it cost? I have a couple sets of 94 wheels I would like to get restored. Local guy did not think he could machine the lip correctly. Wanted to basically polish them and paint the centers. Also have some 96 and up painted that I want to have show chrome done. Post up...

Re: 2OTL pics

Thanks for the offer, but I did get some pics from an all original 94 with very low miles and original owner, so I know it was not changed out. The pics that I did get confirmed that the 94 2OTL muffler was different than the 95 and up version. I also believe that the 94 mufflers have an issue with ...

Re: WANTED 2002 CHARCOAL/EBONY FIREHAWK MATS

Best bet is to watch Ebay. They show up occasionally. Usually new ones pop up, and Ebony(correct for an 02) is the most popular color, so does demand a premium price. Most likely anyone on this site is not looking to sell a set, but occasionally they do pop up here also. Good luck in your search.

Re: Jounce bumpers

I believe you are correct. They used the original bumpers, just inserted spacers.

The only reproductions ones I am aware of are from Hawks third gen. I believe that Engergy Suspension might have a replacement as well.

Re: need help for a 91 Firehawk #005

Part of the problem may be the clutch that you are trying to replace it with. 91 Firebirds typically had T5 Transmissions in them. The 91/92 Firehawk had the ZF 6 speed. Might have to get a Corvette clutch from the a year that had the ZF. If we could see a pic of the clutch and flywheel, it might gi...
