Re: 20th Annual Firehawk Rally

I have brought friends with me but this year my dad is coming. I have slept in the car, camped, and stayed at the cheapest hotels but this year will be my first at the host hotel. I don't think I can get my dad to clean my car as well as my friend Tom did last year. Last year was amazing and winning...

Re: 2001 10th Anniversary Trans Am Firehawk #380 For Sale

Hate to see people selling but if you must... There are 139 10th Anniversary ones, it's a selling point. 6 SPD is another and if the door panels are undamaged. These cars are way undervalued. 345 horsepower is low by today's standards but slight upgrades are available that puts the performance right...

Re: This year's Firehawk Rally

Didn't make it last year. I went rafting down the Grand Canyon. I don't know about this year either. I put on the lower control arms I won. They look great and I can feel the difference. You all are the best.

I believe there are 17 convertibles. One with low miles sold last year for 35,000 USD.

Re: Death of a Hawk

Don't THINK of getting him another high performance car. A parent did that over here after his son's first accident. A year or so later he lost his son, his daughter, and her girlfriend. I had fun at his age too. After my accident I had to buy an econobox. He should pay for his own car next time and...

Re: New Anniversary owner #416/90

Congratulations, I think you stole it. I'd say, though maybe I'm biased, that it should have gone for 20-25K considering the miles and the wear. Things to look out for are the cracks on the door panels. If you don't have them I suggest removing the staples that cause the cracks and replacing them wi...

A 10th with smaller chromed wheels is like a beautiful woman with bad feet.

At least your not giving it away like some others do.

Dude, your giving it away.

A 10th convertible sold for 35,000 not that long ago.

How many Roush Mustang owners would sell their car as if they were average Mustangs?

Re: made it home!!

I made it home as well and what an adventure. 9.5 hrs to arrive to Sandusky but 16 hours back. Why? Because my 8 year old tires broke their belts. I don't know when it happened but I now have to thank God I didn't drag race or I could have blown a tire. I drove the last 400 miles averaging 50mph and...

Re: replacement tires for 2002 firehawk

I'm thinking maybe meeting at the Rally. I could burn up the rears and sell the almost new fronts and the used rears without shipping charges. I would just have to have my new tires on hand and switched for the spirited ride home. :naughty:

Re: 2009 SLP Firehawk online article & Speed TV/Motorweek airing

See here is the problem. Even Motorweek can't even mention the comparison to Europes elites. Why can't an American automotive show even say it's a European elite car killer by comparing it to the M3 or others. It just said it was an upgrade to the G8. How about showing the cost of European cars when...

Re: replacement tires for 2002 firehawk

I have original 2001 Firestone Firehawk tires with under 13,000 miles on them and in great shape but wouldn't trust them with high spirited driving conditions.

I am considering burning them up for youtube if I don't sell them.

Re: ideas

If you haven't done it yet get the door panels fixed so they won't start to crack. I just had my door staples repaired/replaced with ties along with repairing the sail panel bubbling. The place that did it for me said the panel was showing signs of stress so it seems I saved my door panels.
