You need to get ahold of me. I can give you the history on the car from the time it was ordered new as well as to modifications made.
Tell you why it has leather rather than cloth listed in glove box codes. Headers, fan over ride, suspension mods.

Re: WANTED 1995 firehawk air box
I have one new in the box with a new bellows. I also have a hood. I'm negotiating with someone for complete. If this falls through I'll sell the components separately. These were backups I found when I had my 95. It has been sold. Also have NOS SS rear pipes from SLP.

If they are aluminum I have had great success with Mothers Aluminum (am I spelling that right?)
polish and their Power Ball. Used both big and little Power Balls. They really help to bring the shine out.

Re: Number of miles put on your firehawk a year
We drive ours. That's why we bought it. It's my wifes summer daily driver. We've done Hot Rod Power Tour with it five times. We've run it to Virginia. This fall we're driving it to Mississippi to do Crusin the Coast. How can you own one of these cars and not drive them? They aren't pieces of art. Do...

Re: Time to introduce myself
I bought the two stainless pipes from SLP about a year ago. They still had them.
If you do a search you should be able to find the muffler that works as a replacement. Also a lot
of information on these at LS1tech.com under the specialty section.
Hope this helps.

Re: Which SFCs?
I have UMI's on my 95 vert. I bought the weld on ones with the extra bolt kit and bolted them on but quickly threw the bolts away and welded them. What a world of difference. Makes me wonder why SLP didn't make SFC's as part of their package. Pretty much any name company's connectors will make you h...

Re: 1993-1997 LT1 Firehawk SLP hood
The hood is now in my basement. An insurance policy should anything happen to the original. As to it being "beat to hell", I'd have to ask if the poster ever saw the hood. There are small nicks on both ends where it was stood on end. Easily fixable when or if I ever need it. Otherwise it is in great...

Re: Replace Rear Springs
My '95 bottoms all the time. We travel quite often with it loaded, in the ity bity vert trunk. Last spring I replaced the bump stops. I'm sure I still bottom out as often but now I can't tell. The old stops were hardened crusty pieces falling apart. When they were hit they Banged! New replacements d...
