Re: Replacement Bilstein Shocks

I installed the SLP SLP #70002 set with the #70008 shocks and #70009 springs on my FIrehawk last year. The car sits slightly lower than stock, probably just 0.25" lower. I have no problems with bottoming out on regular roads and my car clears speed bumps with no problem. The set is as close as you c...

Re: Adding pics to firehawkowners website

I just seen that you are from Michigan, Jon. Congrats on the purchase. You should check out Mifbody.com and the "Michigan Firebird Club" on facebook.

Anyways, do we PM Brian France or email him?

Re: 345 option

I am guessing it was a mistake made by SLP when the birth certificate was ordered. Seeing that he has the SLP air lid and not the SLP Blackwing air lid makes me believe it was a mistake made by SLP. According to SLPcamaro.com it has the base alterations, chrome wheels, and 1LE suspension. If I were ...

There are two comp t/a's right now on Ebay. You should buy one before it is too late.

Gorgeous Firehawk. Good luck with the sale. It should sell pretty fast.

Re: FIREHAWK HOOD?

I am not sure if your going to be able to find the weight of a firehawk hood. I don't think there is a huge difference in weight or any weight savings. A stock SS hood is said to weight around 50lbs, which is right about the same weight of a stock camaro steel hood. If your looking for weight reduct...

Re: 99-00 Firehawk ol' lumpy 3rd brake light

No problem. I just wanted to add the information to help anyone searching for it.

I am currently in the progress of getting an ol' lumpy restored that will be going on my 1999 Firehawk. They are really hard to find and it is even harder finding any information about them.

Re: looking to buy a 98-02 firehawk will pay up to 12k!

I find this funny. I looked for my car for about a year and half. Drove for hours to look at WS6's and Hawks before I found mine. All of the cars I looked at had problems. I wanted something I could just get in and enjoy. Well I have that now, but I gotta let it go. After writing this I think I'll ...

Re: looking to buy a 98-02 firehawk will pay up to 12k!

I agree with PontiacFan. It would probably be a lot easier finding a WS6 than a Firehawk in your price range. There are two gorgeous Firehawks in this thread that are black and have t-tops. They are both $500 above what you are asking. If I were you I would do anything it takes to get the extra $500...

Re: looking to buy a 98-02 firehawk will pay up to 12k!

Here is one in your price range. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/4384695155.html It looks like the front bumper needs a little love, but that can always be fixed later. I see you posting these threads all over firehawk.org and ls1tech.com, why don't you just search for your firehawk using autot...

99-00 Firehawk ol' lumpy 3rd brake light

I just wanted to add this bit of information to the Firehawk tech section for Firehawk owners with the optional bi wing spoiler known as ol' lumpy. The 3rd brake light is a 97-04 Corvette 3rd Brake light. Part Number is 10253883.

Re: Favorite Firehawk Body Style?

I prefer the 99-02 firehawk, but I am biased. I just prefer the curves of the 98-02 birds versus the 93-97 curves. 98-02 just looks right to me. Some may they look fat in the front, but to me the lt1 birds are to pointy.
