Re: Help. Water pump leaking onto distributor assembly and goes bad.

That whole assembly is a terrible design. I', not super up on mt LTX interchangeability, but I think the 96 and newer Vented Opti's were better, just not 100% if it's a direct bolt on. There are some better aftermarket versions of the water pump and opti as well.

Anyone need an LS6 Intake? It's off a CTS-V so you will need to transfer over all of your cable throttle body parts. $450 SHIPPED to the lower 48 https://i.imgur.com/63BNlRO.jpg https://i.imgur.com/HaVyK3A.jpg https://i.imgur.com/XNaGoIA.jpg https://i.imgur.com/u35G4Xc.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ht25R8...

Re: 2001 Formula Hawk #293 Resto-mod thread.

I know I haven't posted in awhile, being Military, been pretty busy the last few months. Have done some more stuff I'll catch you up on soon, unfortunately time did not permit doing more tutorials for some of it, but I can show some finished products soon.

Re: MagnaFlow 15620 exhaust vs OEM SLP Hi Flow exhaust for 97 Firehawk LT1

Probably be similar, the Mag will be louder. One thing to remember with Magnaflow is, outside of their mufflers, most of their pipes are 409 stainless, not 304. MUCH more prone to corrosion. SLP used 304

Re: Locking lug nuts

My Advice, get a 20mm (I think) 12 point socket or lug removal socket, take them off, put regular nuts on. You are going to have to hammer the socket on to make it tight enough, so use an old one or a cheap one you don't mind if it gets ruined. They are so ridiculously easy to defeat they are genera...
