Hey Tazman,
I can't post pictures, but there is a picture of my totl on the owners site, it is on the 3rd page of pics. Car #640, with a late June production date, converted in July.

Re: 94 #152 FOR SALE
Beautiful Hawk, too bad somewhere along the way those ground effects were installed, because I would like to find a very clean, low mile, and documented Hawk as a collectible.

Re: Help Pricing my 95 Hawk
You say way too many Hawks were built, but to help put things into perspective, consider these facts: One of the most sought after T/As right now is the 77 S/E "Bandit", there were over 15,000 built, and the rarest are the 4speed hardtops at 384 built (1,861 total hardtops). Total Firehawk productio...

Re: Weepy Pumpkins
SLP finally came out with bolt-in sub-frame connectors for 4th gen convertibles back in 03 or 04, I don't remember for sure, but as soon as they did I bought them. Made all the difference in the world on my Z28 convt., in fact when I sold it in 2013, the new owner said it felt better at 100k than ma...

Pretty sure Firestone owns the rights to the Firehawk name (Firehawk tires).

Re: Android-cast head-unit.
Agree with 02redhawk, I want to enjoy the driving experience in my Hawk, MINI S, or for that matter any vehicle I happen to be driving! I wish I could go back in time before any and all of this connectivity, and not have to worry about all the distracted boneheads around me causing myself, passenger...

Re: Tire pressure guage recommendations
I've been using the same pencil style gauge for years, and it was pretty accurate when checked against gauges at the local tire stores and speed shop in town. Unfortunately after years of service it finally broke the other day. I've always wanted a digital, but had people tell me they weren't very g...

Re: What did you do to your 'Hawk today?
Bryan, I would be tempted to think it was from power braking burnouts too, as my last used f-body had lots of rubber stuck to the rear bumper and inside the wheel wells. The Hawk has no signs of this or any other abuse of any kind and meticulous record keeping (it was obviously loved and well cared ...

Re: 1991 003 is for sale at Legedary motorcar
G.conway, I agree with you, I don't understand why everyone seems to think our cars aren't going to be worth decent money in the future. Yet in the for sale forum there is a 95 that needs lots of work and the owner and others think it is worth 7-8k? If that is true, then I must of got a screaming de...

Re: What did you do to your 'Hawk today?
Installed new rear brake pads. According to previous owners records and receipts, this car has had rear pads and or rotors replaced every 16-22k! Fronts have only been done once around 43k and still look new, yet rears were done at 49k and were completely gone at 66k, also 3 other f-bodies i have ow...

Re: 1991 003 is for sale at Legedary motorcar
I think my original post was misinterpreted, I was not implying that any 93-02 Hawks would ever be worth as much as a 91-92, but that as they increase in value I hope and believe the rest will also. The 91-92, LT4, and 09 G8 will almost certainly always be worth more than the rest, and probably by a...

Re: 1991 003 is for sale at Legedary motorcar
I realize the first 25 third gens will always be worth the most, but who would have ever thought that 77-81 black and gold SE would go for over 100k? Yet I saw an 81 with ultra low mileage do just that, and another 77-79 survivor went for 80-90k at the same auction, and I am sure they built a lot mo...

Re: 1991 003 is for sale at Legedary motorcar
To my way of thinking any owner of a Hawk should be happy to see values of 1st gen Hawks climbing, as even though there were MUCH less of them produced, it will hopefully translate to the LT and LS cars climbing also as they get older!

Actually drove it for the first time in 13 months to the local cars and coffee.
