Ron, I've had a BMR brace on mine from the beginning and have no problems what-so-ever.

Looks very nice, you do pretty impressive work.

Back in around '03 when I had 3,000 miles on my 2002 6-speed T/A I ran a 13.7 at 101 w/ a 2.1 60ft on the stock tires. Byron dragstrip in IL. That was all stock before any mods.

Looks like you did a good job, but honestly I'm not a fan of the stripes. Like you said, I think it cheapens the look of the car. I do like how you highlighted the hood ornament bird though(subtle but cool).

I just had to replace one on mine with the original smooth black plastic cap. I did a search here and found no one listed the #. The the part numbers for these are GM# 9595120. Be prepared though, they are $4.63 a piece through the dealer

Hope that helps anyone else out.
