Re: 94 firehawk with LT4 and Vortek Supercharger
A walbro is a good upgrade. May need to know the power level you are at to determine if it will handle what you have. I have a procharged LT pushing 500rwhp, and the walbro has been able to keep up. Now when I install the new motor and increase the boost, I am planning to upgrade to something else. ...

Re: WHAT ENGINE?
Best way to tell is to check the intake and head casting numbers.
There are some visual cues also that may be able to verify the intake also. The heads will have to pull a valve cover.

Re: Best headers with SLP Loudmouth?
I may be wrong, but I believe most of the header/y pipe sets out there are designed to exit at the stock location for the cat back. Likewise, the aftermarket cat back exhaust kits start at the stock location. From everything I have seen, the best headers out there other than the SLP headers are Kook...

Re: Speaker replacement
The grill covers will pull off. Just get a hold of them, and give a firm tug. When i did mine, I did not want to cut the factory wiring, so I cut off the pigtail from the old speaker, and made the connection from the speaker pigtail to the new speaker.

Fake Firehawk alert
Guy has a nice 91 Formula with SLP sticker and exhaust and thinks it is a Firehawk.

Asking a crazy amount of money for a Formula.

Define fastest. ET, or MPH?
Just being an instigator. Probably not have my setup ready for this year either, but look out for next year.

I had the same issue. Went with Keeaudio. No disappointments with my decision at all. Sound is as good or better than the stock speakers.

Re: Looking for advice
Looks like the white one ended up about 20 minutes from my house. Found it on Craigslist last night. Messaged the guy, and he pulled his add. Decided to keep it.
I will probably help him with any questions when he gets to putting it back together.

Re: Looking for advice
That is a deal. Too bad it is so far away from me. I already have a spare motor and trans. Honestly, anything that runs good and is not rusted out will probably be hard to find under his asking price. Only thing to think about is the paint. If you cannot do it yourself, it would be cheaper to buy a ...

Re: Car refuses to start. Need ideas!
I have seen this before from a bad starter. Not sure how it did it, but as soon as I put in a new starter, all was good.
Technically the accessories do not need power from the starter since there is a lead from the battery that bypasses this, but again, I have seen this happen. This was on a 78 TA.

Re: Car refuses to start. Need ideas!
If you find nothing else after trying to jump it, I would drop the starter and have it tested. I have seen bad starters do what you are describing.
