hte driver side header was cut off before it was given to me. about 3in. would it be cheeper to get a custom "y" pipe made or just buy the pipe and have a shop weld in a 3in. piece to fill in the gap?

some friends in the car club i'm in love doing work. i'm going to have them/i put in the headers/ plugs, planning on having an exhaust shop do the ypipe/ cut out.

i got the headers/gaskets/O2 extentions/ electric cut out/ new plugs/ wires... should be going on soon!!!!

headers are being shipped friday. i'm going with a custom Ypipe to the stock firehawk 3" system, straight back to the muffler that the hawk came stock with and out the driver side. i'm trying to save some $$ so depending if i like how it sounds and that it's not tooo tooo loud other muffler changes ...

highest i can find in Utah is 91. i work 4days out in the deserts of utah so i only drive on weekends when the weather is nice

i only drive on weekends. it seems to help save me some $$$ that and i work monday - thursday for the USAF out in the utah deserts where i can't drive anything but government trucks

whould it be cheeper to up grade the trans to a 6speed then to buy a car that already has one? and i think it isn't to hard to get more power out of and LS motor.
