Hey Rotzy...Good pic above! I see the spring at the axle...so consensus is that an isolator is not required at that location. Do we all agree thats proper install? The isloator goes at the top of the spring. Bottom of the spring sits metal-to-metal with the axle. I have not noticed any noises from ...

Ahhh, the rubber "pad" was at the top of the spring and it's known as an isolator. Some people, myself included, have removed it and wrapped the upper coil with rubber heater hose and reinstalled the spring. In my case, it lowered the back just over 1/2".
