a friend of mine and i Should have done them on the weekend but o-well, nothing like working till midnight in the rain doing auto work. my friend did a great job for sure on the install. Car pulls hell'a better !!!! It's a good thing we did change them out, we found a nice big'ish chunk of metal fro...

120,000+ miles, daily driver from thursdaynight- sunday night
20,000+ miles on rebuilt motor to 383ci.
118,000, changed spark plugs/wires, first time for me and first time for the car in 11years. took 13hours :cry: with 2people working.

cleaning enging bay?

i know not to use water because of the opti spark. any suggestions on cleaning it up? and a way to pollish the intake manifold/ fuel rails?

Which model/ age? I kept up with a 20 year old Dino GT with the RX7 I used to have, from 20-110 on an open on-ramp. That was my most fun car before the Hawk. got schooled today

came up along side a farrari, put it in 3rd at about 65mph. i gave it some gas 3times, on the third i took off. about 1/2 second later i could almost feel the air getting sucked out of my car as the Italian super car screamed by me...it was fun though.

http://www.extreme-auto-parts.com/engine-calculator.asp i dyno'd at 280 at 4200' (open cut out). according to the calculator, i'm putting down 328 at sea level. i've got a 383 stroker, pacesetter headers 3" system with a cut out, heads have been worked, not a big cam(can tell from the sound), comput...

Could very well have been the first owner put lowering springs on. I'll agree that 1.5" is a bit much for fatigued springs, you would have noticed other side effects with that too. when accelerating it doesnt seem to much different from my friends '00 Hawk...only that it feels like it has more pull

mine put down 275hp. (utah elevation) i can't wait to see what the 383 stroker, pacesetter long tube headers will do... still waiting for the the computer to get tuned
