Might be worth it to swap the radiator cap for a new one also. They are cheap enough and at least you can eliminate that from the equation as well. If the cap is bad it may not be holding pressure, and the coolant will boil at a lower temperature.

I do plan to modify but i will build a engine and grab a new transmission so i will have the original to put back to stock as well as keep the original exhaust if i change it so the car can be put back to stock and keep the interior stock so it isn't butchered as i have seen some firehawks end up.B...

If you look around there are likely multiple vendors that make the decals. Vinyl is not all that hard to find.
