I had similar problem and was a cut wire from the bracket breaking. Runs fine know but I occasionally get a CES light...finally coded it and found egr and injector codes. I had already manually checked injectors and when I pulled #2 got stutter and #3 and got stutter. (I posted question about injectors on the tech site). I also thought about opti but opti is new. If I needed to get a new opti I'd suggest a) original ac delco opti or b) MSD with vacuum lines from Summit or Jegs..goes for about $459. Also with your description I'd definitely check out the fuel rails. Gary

na.. your good Gary, it happens to the best of us! "The Wife" is running good as far as i know and is getting tuned for sea-level ..2-3 more weeks!

A&A Corvette has the car.. they might get to it next week although my little firebird isn't at the top of their list with a garage full of vetts and a ctsV coupe...
