What did you do to your 'Hawk today?

Post by '02 WS6 » Mon Jun 18, 2012 2:57 am

If there's already a thread like this let me know, as I didn't see one. Usually pretty interesting threads on other forums. Recently I lowered mine, installed Pro 5.0 shifter and my 6LE/McNord overlays with white LED cluster lights.

Got my red LCA relo brackets from Founders Performance and my red tildes to cover up the Pink/Purple ones that SLP seemed to think was ok.

Not Today, but yesterday, installed UMI 3pt SFC, BMR Adj. Lower control arms, and replaced a split power steering pressure hose.
Then had to degrease all the spewed PS fluid under the hood/undercarriage then wash/wax under the hood and exterior.
Was quite the quality time we had. lol

Today I gave my Hawk an overdue bath. I've been using the newer liquid wax from Meguiar's (the Ultimate version) and it seems like it's working out pretty well so far, better than the NXT 2.0. Tomorrow the interior gets worked on, then next week it'll be time for an oil change.

Replaced the original intake with a new LS6 intake, butt seat dyno shows significant power increase at higher RPM's.

After a few weeks I should know better, also planning to get a dyno run to know the real numbers, in June it made 319 RWHP and 334 Ft LBS of torque.
