Replaced my worn and faded vinyl door graphics that I removed more than a year ago:

Took the boys & the Hawk to the Pontiac Tribute Car Show next to Worlds of Fun today. Alot of great Pontiacs showed up and the boys had a great time in the Hot Wheels race. The youngest took 2nd place.

Based on his vinyl color I would say a Red hawk...?02hawk0039 wrote:What type of paint did you use on those calipers? Looks great...what color car are they going on??

They were powder coated, decal applied and clear coated. These are for my red 95 hawk.

Yep, they said they would be doing it again next year but probably at a different location. It was at Westfall GMC this year and there were even folks that I knew from the Omaha area that showed up. Sorry, I didn't find out about it until Tuesday. When I find out when and where it is next year I will post up for everyone that would be interested.lakeratiam wrote:Darn...didn't hear about that one Redhawk........we would have gone...are they going to do it next year??

re: Auto Headlights - delete
This morning I CAREFULLY lifted the upper dash & bypassed the auto headlight sensor. (Canadian Firebird problem)
Headlights were popping up & down far too often. Under tree shade, overpasses, in the garage......PIA.
Now I just use the regular headlight switch - same as the U.S. models. DRL's still active.

I took the hawk cruising tonight. Top down, wife riding shotgun, daughter and future son in law in the back. Got several compliments from Camaro guys. I wasn't expecting that. It made a nice night a great night.
