Stolen Hawk returned

Post by VBACHAWK » Thu Apr 18, 2013 1:37 pm

Went to the Boulder Police impound and picked up my Hawk this morning. She was covered with three feet of snow. Has been missing for over 30 days. Started right up. No apparent damage, except 3/4 of a tank of gas gone, interior a mess. Police found her behind an abandoned building. What a stroke of luck..........I think. Just bought a new Altima, so back to car payments after 25 years of none.

Can't believe she actually was found.........still in shock..........

Wow, glad it was found and not stripped or wrecked. Are you getting it back or is the insurance keeping it? Any pictures of it?

Got her back ! Insurance had not paid out yet. Gonna garage her for a while (she needs tires, some body work) and suspend ins. coverage. She was intact, interior full of beer cans, and missing 3/4 a tank of gas. I was really, really lucky. The 13 Altima is a joy to drive (paddle shifters @@, heated steering wheel, etc.) but the Hawk had no car payments..............
