20th annual firehawk rallie question
Well this year was my second year at the rallie and I dont plan on missing next year cause it was a blast! I have but one concern....... both years everyone has nice firehawk shirts and apparel from past years. Can we get some kind of group order together or something so some of us new guys have some cool hawk gear?
Re: 20th annual firehawk rallie question
Great idea. Dean Fait had made the shirts and plaques happen in the past. If we get enough owners coming that can be done.

Dean has done the normal event shirts and plaques, I talked to him about doing it next year and will follow up come Jan.Maplehawk wrote:Great idea. Dean Fait had made the shirts and plaques happen in the past. If we get enough owners coming that can be done.
We use a embroider at the school, will follow up with them to see what we can do for custom shirt and I have the FAOA shirt as well for sale and give away in the raffle.
I want to start working on prizes and donations early this year and make it a banner year for the Rally.
My car will be there, one way or the other (right now it is looking like truck/trailer rental).

I chatted with Dean Fait as well early on Saturday when I was there and he gave me his card and told me to contact him about doing the event shirts for our 20th Rally. I will be in touch with Brian to make sure we have shirts for the 20th.

Re: 20th annual firehawk rallie question
SO! Fellow Firehawk brothers and sisters! WHAT do you think about having an ACTUAL Hawk from the Ohio Bird Sanctuary making a guest appearance for an hour or so at the 20th Anny Firehawk Rally!? Would be pretty cool to have a picture of a Hawk with a Firehawk! as well as learning about the bird it's self! Just as long as it's educational they said they can attend. Here's a Link from when I did it in Utah, although a little bit more personalized...

Hopefully I will have my Hawk back together by then and be able to attend. Having a real Hawk there would be cool.....just be sure to advise any pet owners. We have a lot of them here in Kansas... I saw one take off with one of the neighbors kittens this past summer!

it would ad to the entertainment! I'm sure the bird handler would have control of the Hawk at all times. I wouldn't want it flying around and shatting all over someones car or land on one and scratch it up meow
