Well, I really barely touched the guide on my driver's side seat belt, and it and cracked in two pieces and fell off.
Inspecting the passenger side, I see hairline cracks at the mounting holes. I'm sure it will snap soon enough.
I found replacements on ebay, but I am now concerned about the brittle plastic? Any other issues I should examine or prepare for?
Are there any know flaws or predictable items I should plan on replacing
Thanks,
MH

Re: Seat belt guides broken
In my opinion, ..., Find & purchase the convertible style units that have a slot in them for the belt.
If you use the standard coupe units that are a solid 'rectangular' opening, you have to remove the belts from the floor, etc. to feed them thru there.
For example;
http://www.ebay.com/itm/93-02-Camaro-Fi ... 1994wt_873
Door panels are a predictable item that will eventually crack.
Especially if you run your window all the way to the bottom. Watch your door panel move the next time you put you window down the last 2-4 inches.
Headlight motors.
Antenna motor.
Should I continue?!?

Those are the brackets I ordered. The headlamp covers make a loud "thump" when they close, I just had to replace one bulb. The banging cant be good for the filament.
The antenna is rather loud too, but I generally don't turn the radio on.

If the gapping on the headlamp lids is ok and not hitting the bumper, you should not have to worry about the lids. Your probably hearing the arm of the headlight assembly hitting the stop.mdhucker@charter.net wrote:Those are the brackets I ordered.
