Favorite Firehawk Body Style?
I just bought another Firehawk- this will be the 4th I have owned - and this is the only one I have now. I have owned every body style except the initial one. I have always like the 93-96 - I just think the sleeker front end is so much sharper (reminds me a little of the early 70's formulas)- the last Firehawks just look too thick/heavy to me in front. JMHO though
Seems as though the prices are getting a little closer- I think in time, maybe 5 to 10 years from now you are going to see the older ones surpass the newer ones in price - you have more supply. Much easier finding lower mile 2002 versions because a lot more people put those away being the last year of production.
I currently have a 1995 so ya maybe there is some bias.

I think the 3rd gens are the nicest followed by the LT1 cars.

Re: Favorite Firehawk Body Style?
If I could have any Firehawk (firebird version) in order, it would be:
1. Almost any third gen
2. A nice low mileage '97 LT4
3. The SOM hardtop on the cover of Mac's book
4. Mine
5. A nice low mileage SOM '02 with the optional spoiler

Hand down... 96 is the best year.
Re: Favorite Firehawk Body Style?
The LS1 body is the most aggressive looking body.

I prefer the 99-02 firehawk, but I am biased. I just prefer the curves of the 98-02 birds versus the 93-97 curves. 98-02 just looks right to me. Some may they look fat in the front, but to me the lt1 birds are to pointy.
Re: Favorite Firehawk Body Style?
I like the 98-02 Formula Hawks. Something about the T/A's that I just don't like. But as everyone else, I am a little biased.
