New SOM 6M Firehawk to the family!!

Post by james8008 » Tue Nov 26, 2013 7:22 pm

I picked up another 2002 SOM 6M Firehawk #962. Since my other one is completely original and I want to keep it that way, I wanted another one to modify/play with. I got #962 home this past Friday and she has a few mods done to it already. It has heads, cam, long tubes, GMMG exhaust, welded in sub frame connectors, and a few other minor things. I don't have a ton of pictures yet but will soon, she has 44k miles on her. Attached are a few pics and a video of her running.

Thanks! Looks like I'll be down there in Arizona come next summer. I "should" be going to Luke Air Force Base down there and will be there in June!

Wow, ..., two SOM Firehawk cars, Congrat's on the new ride! 8)

I know someone with a 10th Ann'y car, looking for an SOM WS6 or Firehawk trade!

Next year is our 20th anniversary rally at Norwalk Ohio. You could be a candidate for long distance award if you would come. Not too early to begin planning. And for that modded car, there is some great racing action at a premier track.

Thanks everyone! Ken, she made it home safe and sound. It was 2 quarts low on oil but other than that she ran great. Thanks for the business as well! Craig I sent you a PM with some questions! Thanks,

James

"2 Hawk" needs a bit more polish to keep up with "2 Fire"". Sweet rides.

Thanks! Actually they both have amazing paint/polish and the one on the right just looks a little dull compared to the other one because of the angle and direction of the sun on them.
