Heres a prime example. Black car, black head plate with silver firehawk and pink tilde. Painted

From TSS: "The gray areas will be brushed aluminum, which will look engraved because the black powder coat surrounds the whole plate. The swoosh over the "Firehawk" is a piece of vinyl"

Here is the concept they did for me, I made a few changes but haven't gotten it yet. I am getting a catch can, so I want to make sure that I will still be able to see it.

I made a lot of those & most of them were indeed painted to match the car colors.
The SOM & NBM were especially nice lookin' plates with matching decals to the cars.

I used the same quality paint used on the cars themselves which was rated to 400F.
I did that for many years as hobby work & most all of the work was simply word of mouth referrals.
I don't have a count for how many were made, but as a small hobby thing, it was really only done to help others who didn't have the means of making the plates or covers themselves. It was mostly pride of workmanship & seeing the people satisfied with the end product that had me making them. I never went advertising them, & continually had people in contact for another set over & over.
I hate to say it, but my real job is 'sales', ..., so helping others & getting the joy of ownership in a favorable 'job well done' is all the satisfaction one needs.

Too bad that the one online photo album that I had a ton of photos on, had folded last year, as there were a lot of good photos there.
This is the only active online photo album that I have any more;

Thanks, ..., but No, not interested in making any more. Sorry, ...
The main problem is that I'd have to buy a dozen or more plates from the local shop that I used as a resource.
I do not have any left-over at this time.
And that is not worth it just to sell one more plate.
