Source Interlink axes HPP

Its completely done. Last issue mails next week. A Sept cover date. No stories in the pipe getting done.

Subscribers get shoved into Hot Rod. 16 or so car mags dumped. If you want to learn more, a long thread going at PY years.

I was paying ahead, to help minimize this happening. Now have 2 years left. Its bad for our hobby, because the commerce and awesome builds don't have a good communication tool now.

Very sad to see.

I agree this is bad for the Pontiac collector car owners. Out of sight - out of mind as the saying goes.

HPP has been great to cover Firehawk rallies in the past, well at least make a mention. personally they gave me a great (and free) review of the Firehawk book. That much space would have cost me close to $5,000. The high cost and slow turn around of print advertising makes it unattractive for people like myself. Much more effective to be online.

Now I need to fill the gaps in my HPP collection......
