Remember my Dad buying a brand new 73 Monte Carlo & it had the embedded antenna. Pretty cool feature at the time.

No idea what the first model to have it though.

I had a 76 Grand Prix. Boy, they were cool cars. Luxo/Sport barges.

"My Classic Car" did a great episode a couple years ago on GM luxury coupes. If you get a chance to see it......

I had a 1962 Grand Prix with factory 4 speed around 1971. Didn't really know what I had at the time but I do know that it didn't have an antenna in the windshield!
