Hello folks,
One of the dumbest things I've ever done was to sell my beautiful, Fire Red 1994 Firehawk #159. I kept it for four years and then traded it in 1998 for a new Corvette hardtop. I've owned two new C5 Vette ZO6s, a Trans-Am Race Series (Jaguar body style that finished 3rd in the Championship and Rookie-of-the-Year award in the 2000 season with 4 podium finishes), and an assortment of very nice cars/vans. But without a doubt, my Firehawk was the sweetest "street legal" ride I ever owned. To add insult to injury, the 30+ close-up photos I took of the car were lost in a PC hard drive crash a few years later.
The reason I'm posting this is that I sure would like to find/download a couple of pics of a similar '94 Firehawk and car specs from SLP. I'm writing a book/movie about hitting an All American Dream of owning a (kickass) professional race team owner and the primary sponsor of the car (Corvette) that won the pole and led the race for 5+ hours at the 2003 Rolex 24-Hour race at Daytona. My family and team experienced the "Thrill of Victory, the Agony of Defeat" from our racing days.
I know this may be a stretch, but any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks, Bob
Sure miss my '94 Firehawk 0159
