Thanks for the replies gents. Keep them coming, all input is useful...
I think I found the answer to what the 1SA package consists of...A/C, Limited Slip Differential, ABS, Remote hatch release and front floor mats. Makes sense because this car has no power locks, windows, mirrors or cruise control...the most basic package in other words...

I bet it is a TB spacer and not a manifold spacer. It seems highly unlikely a low mod car is going to start with something so far in the engine and so off the chart with LT1 mods.BLACK-HAWK wrote:Because it's the 1st time I have ever heard of an Lt1 intake manifold having one. It just sounds weird to me. It just seems like a useless accessory, something along the lines of an electric supercharger to make "more power"

Rare does not always equal valuable. Only time will tell if it is worth anything because of it's rarity. But I would say the more prolific higher option cars will carry more value. Having said that it seems like a fair price if it is in good condition.Ferdy wrote:Thanks for the replies gents. Keep them coming, all input is useful...

Re: 1994 Build Number 480 Found!
I don't think it's the TB, and the intake manifold has been raised slightly with a spacer.

Re: 1994 Build Number 480 Found!
Sounds like a TB spacer to me and confusion on the seller or buyers part.
1SA isn't rare
A flowbastard in place of the SLP muffler is a turnoff for me, if it is in fact, a flowbastard.
Tires will be listed on the rpo code sticker as QLC (16x8) because that is what the car was built with. It was converted to bigger tires/wheels by SLP after it was built.
Post some pictures of all this stuff so we can get a better idea what you are looking at.

Bet ya $10 it's a TB spacer. I can't think of anyone who routinely makes an intake manifold spacer for an LT1. So that means it would be a custom machined part, and a complicated one at that so likely expensive. Remember, the LT1 doesn't have a sealed valley pan like the LS1, so any spacer would have to be made to fit the entire bottom of the LT1 intake. I can't see someone who has done a muffler as the only real mod paying to custom fab a piece (which is pretty worthless), and then taking so much apart to get to it, as a second Mod. Not when you could easily buy a better intake manifold for less.

It is a throttle body spacer, not an IM spacer, my mistake...checked with the seller. That being the case, I presume it makes more sense (and HP I guess). BTW, I'm not married to the Flowmaster...since it would probably be impossible to go back to stock, what muffler would you recommend?NBrehm wrote:BLACK-HAWK wrote:I don't think it's the TB, and the intake manifold has been raised slightly with a spacer.

I'm glad we got that all cleared up. Guess I should have asked to verify that first. Oh well.. Live, learn.. try not to repeat

Well, I'm the proud new owner of the car...it really is a sweet ride...almost like new...couldn't be happier really, since it was WAY less than even a used up 'Vette. I'll be ordering the birth certificate and window sticker tomorrow...

I can't...I don't have permission yet (not enough posts I presume). Maybe you or someone can talk to the mods so I can post 'em....BLACK-HAWK wrote:Congrats!! Now post pictures or it didn't happen

Thanks for reposting the pic since I can't.
Owner told me he went with the thinnest spacer possible so that no other mods had to be made to make it fit.....
