To my way of thinking any owner of a Hawk should be happy to see values of 1st gen Hawks climbing, as even though there were MUCH less of them produced, it will hopefully translate to the LT and LS cars climbing also as they get older! 😀

I could be wrong but I don't think 4th gen Hawks are going to come near the value of 3rd gens with the possible exception of the '97 LT4 cars.

AGREED Scott

I think my original post was misinterpreted, I was not implying that any 93-02 Hawks would ever be worth as much as a 91-92, but that as they increase in value I hope and believe the rest will also. The 91-92, LT4, and 09 G8 will almost certainly always be worth more than the rest, and probably by a wide margin.

Wow. What an depressing bunch of
Car owners. If we don't think that our Hawks are worth anything than why should anyone else. Mustang anyone?

I didn't read any of the comments as not being worth anything. I read it as, the 4th gens will more than likely never see the value that a 91,92's are. I personally don't recognize the G8 as a Firehawk. its no different than slapping SS on the side of a Cobalt or a 2009+ trans am(but I actually like the 2009+trans am).. we aren't car owners(or former owners waiting for a job so I can get another one) we're Firehawk owners!

G.conway, I agree with you, I don't understand why everyone seems to think our cars aren't going to be worth decent money in the future. Yet in the for sale forum there is a 95 that needs lots of work and the owner and others think it is worth 7-8k? If that is true, then I must of got a screaming deal on mine, as it must be worth 15-20k given it's condition!
