Yesterday afternoon (Sunday 8/20) I was traveling back to Virginia from a weekend trip to Frostburg, Maryland. I was headed east on I-70 just outside of Frederick, Md. in my red 94 Hawk. At about 1:30 I briefly caught site of another Firehawk heading westbound on I-70. It was the deep purple color, looked to possibly be a '95. The driver spotted me at the last moment as well and waved. Just thought I'd post this to see if perhaps it was another FAOA member.
BTW - This weekend's trip was my longest road trip so far with my Hawk. What a fantastic long distance cruiser! Slide it into 6th gear and just effortlessly gobble up pavement. Wonderful...I love my car (I'm sure you all feel the same way)! Cheers,
