1992 Firehawk Value

Post by Doug C » Mon Aug 28, 2000 2:46 pm

I have the opportunity to purchase a 1992 Firehawk with low miles. Anyone have an idea of the price range
for this car? I don't want to get taken.

Anything under $25,000 would be a good deal. An asking price of $30,000 is common.

Depends on the options such as the competition package or the aluminium engine.

Even at low mileage that is way to much....30,000 to 25,000....I had the oppurtunity to buy a 95' Hawk at a esquisit and exotic car dealership with 3,500 on the odometer and asking price to walk out the door with it was15,000. It was the model that had the 315hp. on the hood, fully loaded with 6spd. I just didn't like that it did not have the rear lift spoiler, and my wife probably would of killed me if i brought it home with me doing the mods on my car right now.

Just to give you a point of reference, I paid 14,700 for a 95 with 45,000 on it. I was still incredibly happy with the deal....
Not to mention THRILLED with the car.
Hope that can help your decision.

Given that 91/92 was the first year and only 25 were produced I think that owners of these cars will be asking the kind of prices that Mac stated above.
