Stolen Firehawk!!!!

Post by Brian J. France » Tue Oct 03, 2000 10:31 am

Just saw this on the f-body mailing list:

----------------------------

My friend Brad's 96 Firehawk convertible was stolen last night from The
Mall Of Ga in Buford, Ga. Its black, with a tan top and tan leather
interior, and its one of only 9 produced that year . If you see this car
(its probably stripped or shipped by now), or any Firehawk specific
parts for sale, please contact Brad Pennington at 800-950-9503 ext 278,
or e-mail to bradp@yearone.com. Thanks!

Yes unfortunately my car was stolen Monday evening. It was recovered yesterday
morning in Athens, GA. Where to start; 2 of the chrome wheels are broke, the
hood is gone, taillights are gone, console broke, they drove it 1/4 mile into
the woods and the paint is ruined, the mirror is broke, column is broke,
LH door panel is broke, a lot of underdash and underhood wiring is ripped
loose. One of the wheels has a 3" piece missing. I can't believe some
piece of @!#$ would steal this and do this to it. Oh yeah, I think they smoked
the motor too. It won't turn over. We'll see what the insurance is going to do now.

Sorry to hear that Brian, seems like it gets more and more difficult to have something nice. Just hope the a$$holes got hurt when they drove it into the woods.

Good luck with the insurance company....

Brad - Wasn't this the same car recently listed for sale?! It really makes me sick to hear of such things. Best of luck with the whole situation. Hope everything somehow works out for you in the end. Cheers.

I think the police may have made an arrest on this. They can bring them to my
house and chain them to my deck. I'll handle it from there!!! LOL
