... the weakest 8cyl engine ever put in a Firebird, let alone a Firehawk ...

Heck, either SLP did one hell of a job at tuning the engine afterwards, or those must be some super-HP in there

... that's what I thought the Firehawk stickers on the doors and rear were for, too ... ;)
Funny thing is, the original owner never noticed it on the title ...
Btw, should the title have the original (GM) HP rating (305?), or the SLP rating? (335 for 2000?) Not that it matters, as the german title I will get will have the car listed as being a T/A with the T/A HP rating ...

That looks like the horsepower rating on a title...I'm not sure where the DMV comes up with those horsepower ratings...I think my Caddy has more HP than my Firehawk - LOL!

When I was Z06 shopping a few months ago, I came across this website that provided the 'black book' values of cars...

http://www.cudirect.com/Research/Black_Book.aspx

It lists the taxable HP ratings too - I'm not sure why my Z06 has a taxable rating of 48.6 while the Firehawk is 51. But that's what the 51 number represents.

I was wondering about the value ... can't be a simple typo, and it's way too small for someone to just accidently type it in ... tnx for the info ...
