PONTIAC-OLDS-BUICK Car Show on Saturday May 12, 2001 at the Madera County
Fairgrounds. 9:00AM to 4:00PM with registration from 7-10AM. Madera is 20
miles north of Fresno, CA on Hwy 99. Take the Cleveland Ave, exit west one
block to the fairgrounds entrance and follow the signs to the show field.
The show is sponsored in part by Pontiacs of Central California and Don
Bonanders Vintage Pontiac-Buick-Cadillac and GMC of Madera. They will also
have a model car contest, swap meet, food, raffles and a Friday night BBQ.
This is their 5th annual car show and the cost is a very reasonable $15 if
you register by May 1st and $20 thereafter. Check out their web site at:

I was told that if we get enough Firehawks or other Firebirds we will get
another class. We might even get our own Firehawk class if we can get
enough of us out there. Hope to see you there, Bob D.

Just a quick update on the car show in Madera, CA on May 12th. It looks now as if we might have as many as 9 Firehawks down there and the numbers keep growing. If you're in the area bring your Pontiac, Olds or Buick on over and join in the fun...it should be a fun day - Bob D

There is a FREE BBQ at the dealership in Madera on Friday night too and if you want, you can put your car in "lock-up" at the dealership overnight on Friday and they will give you a free ride back and forth to your motel. Leave your 'Hawk locked up overnight on Friday and it will remain clean and dew free.
