WHOOPSIE!! I certainly hope nobody else went to Wausaukee for the car show that wasn't beside me. I apologize for not checking all the info I was given - another Car Club gave me a list, and I hadn't checked those out yet - just lazy, I guess. The following others from that list are unconfirmed, I'll put them back among the others after I confirm them. When I find out when the Wausaukee show is, I'll post that also.
Please let me know of any further mistakes.

Jun 5 New London Car show
Jun 23-25 St Ignace Car show
Aug 12-14 Good Guys Car Show, Waukesha
Sep 24&25 Jefferson Fall car show

I've been happy to see and meet new Hawks and owners each year.
Hope to see more Hawks again this year.

Ron Schaefer,
Firehawks of Wisconsin

Mac Logan is doing the 7th Annual FirehawkFest in July (8, 9 and 10) up in Calgary. This is the only other meet sanctioned by the FAOA other than the Rally in Norwalk, Ohio in August. :D

Thanks for the clarification. I hadn't fully understood that.
We won't be scheduling any events during those days.
It's closer than I thought it was. Wish I wasn't working then.

Gee, Bob. If you weren't planning on joining the Spring Cruise on Sat, you should consider it. Most fun driving you'll have this year.

Thanks for the info, Ron. That's quite a lineup of events! I imagine I'll be seeing you sometime this summer. :)

Mmmmmmmmm, not too sure about that, as the cruise to Norwalk with 30 or so other Firehawks is quite a bit of fun too. But since I haven't done both yet, I can't really say for sure. Also, the Saturday night cruise through Sandusky and Cedar Point with 50 Firehawks is quite a hoot too. Police escort and all!

Gerry, hope I haven't confused you or anybody else. Only the BBQ is set for us so far - the rest is just a informational way to help plan your summer car activities. I listed ones which would allow Hawks to participate (or so I'm told). We may choose to piggyback on one of them as a meeting, like Don Miller in the past, but don't expect to see me at any particular one.
I'll try to make it to a few. If other Hawks are planning to attend, feel free to give me the head's-up.

Bob - I agree I enjoyed the Hawk Convoy, and more so the Hawk Cruise on Sat night. However, I'm afraid they can't really compare to putting your car through it's paces on hills, twists, curves like the Cruises sponsored by MFBA. Segments of the cruises have attained nicknames, like "the rollercoaster section", "the Laguna Sega section", as well as all of the generic "the Twisties". Just not the same as driving on the Interstate, or in a Police Escorted quicky parade. All enjoyable, for sure, but not the same.
I'll give you a chance to experience one of the Cruises, and then I will accept your judgement regarding preference. The Fall Cruise in October is closer to you, starting near Rockford and stopping for lunch in IL's La-Aqua-Na State Park, less than an hour from you. Hope you can check it out, and remember to take your FRS radio.
