Is anyone doing a Convoy from the MD/VA area to the Rally. If so where and when do people meet up.

Hi Tim,
Saw your name in Hawk Talk and was wondering if you were going to the rally. We will be leaving sometime Friday morning. Let me know if you want to get together.

Chris,

I am going to the Rally in Ohio. Where were you thinking about meeting up. I have been thing about an alternate route then the Penn Turnpike.

Well we live in Frederick, so you can head up our way to meet since it is on the way. We have travel several times to Cleveland taking I-68 thru western MD to I-79 around Morgantown up to I-70 and then I-77 toward Cleveland. It's a little longer than the turnpike but it's a nice ride. Only I-70 gets a little hectic around Wheeling and then the construction afterward. Is this the alternate route that you were thinking of?

That is similar to what I was thinking. I was thinking 79 Noth to 76 West just Northwest of Pittsburg. 76 becomes 80/90. Either way sounds good to me. I have never been there so I will defer to your past experience. I can be reached at the following email address tmcaulif@verizon.net.
