Actually Bob, you are closer than you think. The ceremony was all mine, the reception was hers. We did things very different from the norm mainly because of my beliefs. We basically eloped and had a private ceremony. Then we had our honeymoon, then had a reception. Honeymoon was several weeks after the reception. The reception was the only part that was traditional.
Chuck, I was not joking when I said that. Sounded like a very nice event and hope things went well. Congratulations on the wedding too! Can't wait to meet the new bride.

Sounds like a better plan. My second go-round was on the beach in Hawaii. Two couples and a minister. I enjoyed it much more.

I'll post some pics. It turned out very well. We had been dating off and on for years and actually grew together over the years rather than apart like many people do. She is also a car person, and we are both into Nissan Z cars. Our honeymoon was in Japan as part of a special invitation from Nissan and it turned out to be great. It was spent mostly around cars and we were even provided cars to drive around their test tracks.

And since this is a car forum, here is a pic of her car. Its pretty fast. Faster than a stock ls1 and it handles great on the track. The last autocross we both ran together at the national Z convention, I placed 1st and she placed 3rd overall in her car.
