Midwest F-Body Spring Cruise May 19

Post by 02hawk796 » Thu Mar 29, 2007 2:52 am

Less than 2 months away, thought I already posted this.

Any F-Body that shows up is welcome, no fees or charges.

http://springcruise.fallcruise.org

About 250 miles of twisty and hilly roads, most of a Saturday. Travels through 9 counties around Milwaukee County, Starting south of and ending north of Milwaukee. Route goes through 2 traffic lights for the day, one of which is a right turn.

This is a non-competitive driving experience, with regularly scheduled breaks. Expect to use 2 tanks of fuel. Families are welcome.

The route has been developed and chosen with specific regard for a group of F-Bodies. It is a fun driving experience, with some scenery. Previous years have seen plates from WI, IL, IN, IA, MO, MI, FL.

Sweet. Kids are welcome.
Best to bring an FRS radio along. Also helps to bring a copy of the directions.

It would be better if you could attend the Driver's meeting, at least for your first time out on one of Damon's Cruises. That's at the beginning, at the meeting point. There are also some sweet segments before we get to Oconomowoc.
Where is Trenton? I don't recall seeing that on my maps in this route. Are you talking east of West Bend?

The Route Directions at the cruise website have been updated for this year. The maps are not, and represent last year's route, which was similar.
