Post by amoede » Sat Feb 13, 2010 8:56 pm

This just showed up on eBay. I have no affiliation with it.

First LT4 I've seen with the TOTL on it. I bet it sounds good with that! Mine was really quiet with the quad tips and resonators when I bought it new.
I wonder what's up with the back bumper where the 330HP decal should be. It looks like a rectangular decal was removed and the adhesive was left behind...but the 330HP decal wasn't rectangle. :?:

Mike, I'm the owner of that car. The decal came off last week. It was an SLP decal not a 330HP decal....never changed it out. Maybe they made the change in the later builds?

On reflection - I think you ARE correct. I seem to remember my hubbie mentioning something about not wanting to attract racers on the road....maybe that's what he did...swap the 330 hp decal for the SLP? if so, I should have it if I look hard enough....

Nice car, good luck on the sale. On the rear decal, it should be the 330HP decal (I've got #27, and it has 330HP on the driver's rear, so it's not a late build change). Not a big deal though, there's an auction on Ebay right now for silver 330HP Firehawk decals (you might want to get it and include with the car). Also, unless it was a special order, the car actually has a Torsen differential, not an Auburn. Finally, the TOTL exhaust is also incorrect for an LT4 cars unless it was a special order. Don't know that I'd worry about correcting the exhaust on the sale listing, but I'd definitely verify/correct the differential info. Not trying to detract or be nit picking, just want to help you out by pointing out things a knowledgeable buyer will ask you about. Hopefully you get a good price as they don't sell often and it helps with values whenever one sells for a decent amount.

Thanks for replying here! I hope the car brings the money, too.

With that being #1, I wouldn't be too shocked to hear SLP built it with the TOTL exhaust, but I'd heard they all had the dual/quads. I wish mine was TOTL from the get-go, that's for sure!

Thanks Evan and Mike for all the input both online and offline...Verified the TOTL was installed as an option by SLP predelivery

I've got the never applied 330 HP decals and all the original paperwork....Any more questions, suggestions, etc...much appreciated!

it looks like it has a BBK throttlebody in one of the pictures. Can I assume thats aftermarket? Did they come with the regular lt1 throttlebody's so its easly switched back?

I spoke to your dad - he's got my number. he didn't think it was a big deal - i told him i didn't understand the question enough to answer so if you want to get my number from him - you can explain the question to me and I'll check out the answer.

I'm under the impression that nothing other than the gear ratios was changed out from original....
