coated pace setter heads ftw! ... as far as totl, how important is it that it's original? i think a big brand exhaust company makes a totl muffler, or go custom! lol

we all know who ever SLP went through probably won't re-make the totl mufflers and they are a rare stock item that comes up for sale ,..but you can & would have to measure, bend and cut your own tail pipes but MagnaFlow makes several single inlet, dual outlet mufflers...

Borla also makes a universal center/dual..

my totl muffler dissapeared when i had my motor and turbo build( which is the one of two items i remember saying i wanted back.. the other was the '95 'hawk ram air box& filter < thankfully i got that back..

I'd like all of the Performance aftermarket parts to be SLP to keep in touch with the Heritage of the car.

As for Pacesetter headers, I have always had horrible luck and I had bought 2 pairs! The last Header I bought was Dynatech- and they were built perfect! I would consider buying a set of Kooks and removing their brand name buying a very poorly taken care of set of SLP's just for the Tag and install them on the kooks but only as a last resort.

http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/pts/1755446100.html TOTL exhaust $250

This guy in Western Missouri has a mint condition complete TOTL SLP cat back that's fully polished. He was asking $450 but recieved zero offers. I bet you could get it for $350-400 which is what these sold for new and isn't bad considering there area a bunch of TOTL just the mufflers on LS1tech.com for $350. Here's his number from www.mofbody.com Call or Text (417)844-0560

Otherwise check LS1tech.com

As far as the headers go;
1. SLP never installed headers on one of there cars from "the factory" so originallity doesn't matter.
2. SLP headers were just as much a pain in the ass to install and fit as all others. If you want the best hands down LT1 headers look for a set of Arizona Speed & Marine headers. They hard to find but worth it.
3. If you must buy SLP headers you're best bet is to watch LT1s for sale that list SLP parts in their ad and check the pics to see if they have SLP shorty headers. Then see if you can get the owner to part with them. May want to have a set of manifolds and y-pipe on hand to do a quick trade.
4. Remember that 93-95s are different than 96-97s due to dual cats and different y-pipe.
