That's not necessarily a bad thing, ...
Think of all the money you can start saving up for your next adventure later!

Just my $.02... throwing an LX_ in the car is just bad money chasing bad money. Think of how much you are going to have wrapped up in that car! After spending about $8K on my motor, if it ever goes the car is gone. No way I'm putting that much money into a car that is worth (book value) so little.

My unsolicited advice - sell it and move on to the next project.

no more forced induction for this guy Scott... next LS firehawk will get long tube headers, a cut out and maybe 4.10 gears and that's it. currently already on the next project, the FJ cruiser is fun!

Stil a lot of money to spend for a motor and all of the extras like a computer.

Good luck.

Scott, I think you've misunderstood his intentions.
He's not planning on installing an LS* into this car, I think he's planning on selling it & buying a car with the LS* platform already there.

I had a huge write up but the wonderful time out feature caused me to loose all that I had written, So in short...

The time has come to say good bye. I've loved, I've hated, I've lost, I've learned and between all of the ups and downs I've had fun along the way. My new life back to the civilian world is approaching fast and as I transition into uncertainty over then next 3 years it's best to say goodbye... The Car is awesome! But it's time... $10,000obo....

Hey sorry to post on your for sale topic. But hey I know the feeling about getting out. I have thought about it a couple times. Been in for 11 yrs now and Army as well. So if you need any help with anything or whatever let me know. Where are you stationed currently? I am in Hawaii schofield barracks.
