A few items for sale

Post by LTX_OUTLAW » Tue Mar 04, 2014 9:26 pm

Hey guys a few months ago I came across a brand new slp 3 channel 3.23 rear end from firehawk.org and yesterday I came across something that I been looking around for so to build up some extra funds I have several items I am willing to let go at very good price

Back in December I purchased this brand new ls1 Slp rear end
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11935
I paid $550 not including the $248 to ship I will let it go for the new lowered price of $200 not including shipping

For a quicker response you can text or call me at 979-250-3775 thx Henry

I have interest in the rear end.
Three questions:
Where is it now? (Affects shipping costs)
What gear ratio? (Auto vs. MN6)
What posi? (Torsen or Auburn?)
Thanks,
Larry

I believe I can answer a couple of your questions. Its an auburn for sure and if I'm not mistaken the owner thought is was the 3;42 gear ratio.
The only problem for me was it is not for traction control.
Basically one (non TC) is called a 3 channel, the other (has traction Control) is called a 4 channel. Not that easy to swap if not matching configuration.
Hope that helps.

After inspecting the photos a little closer could that be the gear ratio written on it. That would make sense. 3:23?

Yep, that's the ratio for an auto Firehawk.
Mine is a manual with 3.42:1. But I could use all the rest of the parts to build a replacement for a bent housing I have to replace.
I assume the rear is in Kansas? I would need it to be shipped to Washington state (zip 98295) and that just might not make sense.
How did you ship it last time, freight or UPS?

When I bought the rear end from this member in this link

http://api.viglink.com/api/click?format ... Bt%3D11935

I thought it would be a direct swap but I didn't realize after I purchased that the rear end is for the 98-02 cars the rear end is a 3.23 3 channel setup it is brand new never been used the only reason I want to get rid of it is because I found a lt1 torsen rear end and I no longer need this one with the auburn it took a arm and a leg to have it shipped from Wyoming to Texas if someone wants it feel free to text or call 979-250-3775 and we can work out the task of shipping thx Henry
