Gorgeous Firehawk. Good luck with the sale. It should sell pretty fast.

This car is a blast to drive and I have personally blown Camaro SS's of the same vintage out of the water with this beast. If I could keep her I would, but I need a more practical vehicle as I am starting a family.
They probably didn't even know you were "racing" them. Honestly, do you think the extra 0-10 advertised Firehawk HP vs. a WS6 or SS is really capable of consistently blowing them "out of the water?" Those "lesser" '99-'02 SS/WS6's with the SLP performance exhaust came with 327-345 hp. With those small differences it comes down to how the factory built any particular car's drive train and the skills of the driver. Those 2 are probably good for a net 25 hp either way. Obviously, you never ran into a GMMG Berger, Tom Henry, or DEI equipped Camaro SS. Fwiw, if you're truly looking to sell the car it probably doesn't help your cause to tell prospective buyers that blowing other cars out of the water is one of your priorities. Did you have the car repainted or did a previous owner do that?

Re: 2000 Formula Firehawk #56 price dropped to $11000obo
why did it need new paint?
Re: 2000 Formula Firehawk #56 price dropped to $11000obo
Thanks guys for the input. The paint was for maintenance; typical nicks you would find on your front bumper after 80+ thousand miles of driving and yes I did it. Also, thanks Brian, you have a perfectly valid point, but your logic does not account for the nerve and quickness of the other driver and ya, I only had one opportunity to race against a Camaro SS and yes they knew However, I can see where this might cause a problem selling it though thanks!
