Here is one in your price range. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/4384695155.html
It looks like the front bumper needs a little love, but that can always be fixed later.
I see you posting these threads all over firehawk.org and ls1tech.com, why don't you just search for your firehawk using autotrader, searchcraigslist.org, adhuntr, and forum classifieds like most people? No offense, but your threads seems like craigslist scam emails and that is probably why you don't get a lot of replies to them.

Re: looking to buy a 98-02 firehawk will pay up to 12k!
i understand what you are saying. iv had no luck with auto trader at all the dealers ask way too much for there cars. also with craigslist iv been using search tempest which searches all of Craigslist and i have not had much luck on there either all the good cars that iv found on there are either already sold, they are asking more than i have or asking too much. im more looking for a ws6 but if i could find a fire hawk in my price range id buy it. that's why iv posted on hear was to find a hawk
im really looking to find a car before summer so im really motivated so i can see where some people might think that i was a scammer by all the posts i have.
as with that hawk iv already messaged him and he does not want to work with me on the price at all so im not going to push it

$12,500 is a fair deal for that 2000 from DP Hawk.
Hell, make him a serious offer of $12k, ya never know, ...,
It's an A4 car, so not sure if you are specifically interested in an M6 car only, ..., but if you're going to mod it, ..., add a nice converter & you'll never go back to an M6 car.
As you've found from all of your searches here, LS1Tech, Craigslist, AutoTrader, Cars, etc., etc., ..., finding a less than 100k mile, not-trashed, LS1-base 4th gen Firehawk is tough for under $12, not to mention the $10k you started at.
By the way, ..., this is a fairly slow moving forum.
Bumping it daily may not gain you a whole lot, as your threads will be 'near' the top for days, ..., maybe weeks, ..., okay, maybe not weeks.
And again, where are ya located?
It'll help to know so others can make recommendations on their findings.

I agree with PontiacFan.
It would probably be a lot easier finding a WS6 than a Firehawk in your price range.
There are two gorgeous Firehawks in this thread that are black and have t-tops. They are both $500 above what you are asking. If I were you I would do anything it takes to get the extra $500 or talk them down to $12,000.

I find this funny. I looked for my car for about a year and half. Drove for hours to look at WS6's and Hawks before I found mine. All of the cars I looked at had problems. I wanted something I could just get in and enjoy. Well I have that now, but I gotta let it go.
After writing this I think I'll get a drink, put some tunes on the radio and sit in the garage and look at my Hawk. I'm sad.

Re: looking to buy a 98-02 firehawk will pay up to 12k!
Still kicking myself for passing on a 28K mile 2000 Formula FH M6 for $12K....from a dealer. So they do pop up from time to time. I've seen a number of 30K to 38K mile 2002 WS6's in the $13,500-$14,500 range.
I agree that most dealers want too much for higher mileage hawks (>50K miles). That's why I'd be looking in the lower mileage range as they tend to go by the "books" which give very little value to any miles under around 40,000-50,000. Those are nearly "free" miles.
Don't get impatient. As what usually occurs is that you "settle" for something not exactly what you want in order to stick it in the garage to meet your time table. Then within a few months the exact car you wanted at the right price shows up. And you can't buy it.

I just got back to my computer. Was away all day yesterday. I'll call you later Robert. Sent you a PM also.
Thanks to everyone for all the good wishes! I'm excited to have another child and really hoping for a boy this time.
