Pricing for 1994 Firehawk #410

Post by Heavy-Driver » Fri Aug 01, 2014 9:30 pm

My poor girl was TOTALLED by an idiotic 18 year old driving a POS 95 Corolla Frankenyota on 07/22/14. He came close to TOTALLING me too, since I was on the table having my spleen removed 20 hours later. Couldn't have centered up on my driver's door any better if he had tried. Long story short, the insurance company is trying to give me what I think is a low-ball offer. They are averaging about $3k less than confirmed sales of similar condition/mileage 94-95 Firehawks. Unfortunately the only sites I can find with any real confirmed sales are sites like Mecam Auctions. I was wondering if I could get a polling from the group here on what a realistic market price is for my car.

Interior & Exterior were both an unrestored realistic 8/10.
Mileage was 56000
Auto, Coupe, Leather
SLP letter certifying authenticity, Window Stickers
SLP Performance Exhaust
SLP Performance Suspension

So now, I have no need for the THREE sets of ROH wheels that I have. Anyone with a 93 or 94 Hawk let me know if you are interested.

1) Original set with center covers/caps from my car, a couple with curb rash. Not on the car when crashed
2) Extra set of straight, reconditionable ROH's, with covers/caps also I believe (been a long while since I looked)
3) I managed to get one of the LAST sets in the US of brand new still in the box (never mounted) with brand new in the box lugnut covers and FH center caps.

All 3 sets are still in my soon to be ex-wife's garage and I'll be going back to the New Orleans area on Monday if you would like pictures.

I have a few LT1 Gen4 parts available for sale now also...just haven't made a recent inventory. Let me know if there's anything you're looking for. Small list: bolt on SLP replica subframe connectors, NIB Timken front wheel bearings, set of LS1 spindles/rotors/calipers for 12" brake upgrade to fit inside ROH wheels, 2 sets of highly sought after NEW Bishop C5 conversion brackets to upgrade the front brakes to the 13" C5 Rotors and Z06 Calipers (won't fit under the ROH wheels...that's why I had the ZR1 replica wheels with 02 FH center caps on the car), PCM, ABS computer, ABS pump, steering wheel mounted buttons, intake, 54MM rebuilt TB, 28LB injectors, and a few other bits I can't remember right now.

As an aside, I had the SLP triangulated subframe connectors installed. Since the other car almost completely missed the side-impact bar in the door, I firmly believe that the subframe connectors helped save my life by forcing much of the impact force to be distributed through the floorpan (floorpan, A-pillar and B-Pillar were all crumpled in at least 4"), and rest of the frame vs just the softer crumple zones along the waistline of the car. I was stopped with no place to go and he was doing at least 35mph when he hit me.

Thanks for looking and Thank you for any help on coming up with a valuation for my 94...may she R.I.P.!

Just keep flooding them with ads for cars you find on-line even if they are old. Print them out and fax them to them daily or weekly. They will stall for awhile but may pay higher that the NADA price. I found one for $15,000 and another for $14,800 searching "1994 Firehawk for sale".
