And your chosen sale price is also strictly your opinion...and anecdotal. Fwiw, I like visiting the for sale section to keep members from wasting their time asking silly high prices for their cars....or even way too low a price....that's happened too. Isn't the idea to get it sold fairly quickly for fair or full market value? Some members have PM'd me and thanked me for my help. I do this very thing on LS1Tech.com 100 times or more year. But, if understanding the LS-1 and Firehawk price market is that distasteful to some, I'll stop posting. You can call it trolling. Others call it being realistic. There are people here who have been offering the same car for 1-2 years, and dropping the price every 3-6 months. Eventually, they'll end up at the price I mentioned 1-2 years ago and sell it. Frankly, anyone who has been offering the same car for sale for 1-2 years has no intention of being realistic and actually selling it. I find that more offensive than discussing pricing that is actually realistic.calz54 wrote:Your opinions are strictly that...opinions. It's purely anecdotal information and unless you're a buyer or seller, I'm sure everyone would appreciate it if you keep your comments to yourself.
I'm always a buyer and a seller if the right car comes along. I sold my 72 year old neighbor's truck for him on Friday. Took me a week. Since I wasn't the actual buyer or seller I guess that made it all "anecdotal." He got 20% more for it than anyone in the local area offered him for it. But, if "wishes and rainbows" are what sellers here want, then I will comply. No sense in interjecting a bit of reality to someone who thinks their "$18K" Firehawk is worth $25K. And we've seen that act play out a couple of times in the past 1-2 years (not this particular thread). If I was way off base on price I'd sure want someone to tell me to look at it again. All that does is scare away real buyers early on...who may not ever come back OR end up buying another car that is better priced.
RARE doesn't always equal "in demand" or worth a "premium." Please delete all my posts that don't comply. There must be dozens of them here by now. It's odd that not once before did I mod PM me no longer do this. But, I will comply.

I'm glad we came to an understanding. Thanks for the free bump.
$18500 for Firehawk.org members. Everybody else is $19k Firm. Absolutely beautiful car. All door trim, weatherstripping and seals are like new. It's a real head turner for less money than a Honda Civic.

Re: low mileage 2002 Formula Firehawk FINAL PRICE - $18,000
I have had quite a few inquires, but no cash-in-hand yet. Lowered the price to bottom dollar...$18K.
Re: low mileage 2002 Formula Firehawk NEW PRICE - $17,000
I have lowered the price to $17k. This car is a steal at that price.
