Not sure if this is a real firehawk

Post by james8008 » Sat Jan 29, 2011 5:29 am

The car is a 2002 Sunset Orange Metallic Convertible 6 speed Firehawk. The VIN # is 2G2FV32G322132344. I tried to call SLP to find the build # but for some reason couldn't get ahold of them. So just wondering if anyone could confirm if this is a firehawk or not? Thanks!

Any web links available so we can see it?
Can you see the RPO tag on the driver's side door?
If so, simply look for WU6 code. If it's there, that was the Firehawk option code.

Correct me if I'm wrong but that doesn't tell you anything since it says WU6 Unk(nown).

Consider yourself corrected...that is saying that it HAS WU6, but it is unk(nown) by that website what that code designates.

OP-the WU6 code confirms that it is a real Firehawk.

Guess I was looking at it as saying the WU6 option was unknown, not that it had the option but they didn't know what it was. Add to that it says that there were 122 matches for that option which doesn't make sense either since there were more than 122 Hawks built in '02.

That site has been around for a while. It's not exactly known for being accurate for #'s.
