95 firehawk plaque

Post by lakeratiam » Sun May 22, 2011 1:07 am

Does any one know the actual SLP position for the plaque on a 95 Firehawk? I have seen them on the ash tray lid as on the one currently on auction on ebay, but in the 95 Firehawk brochure from Pontiac, shows the plaque in front of the shifter, between the shift pattern plaque and cig. lighter. Was this changed after the brochures were printed?

There is a different brochure than this one:

I am pretty sure that 1994 it was up by the shift pattern, 1995 it was on the ash try lid. I know my 1995 is on the ash try lid.

Yes that is the brochure that I have. Do you know where I can view the other brochure you mention?

Nope, that is the only one. Are you taking about this picture:

My guess is that is the white pilot car, which is really a 1994 Firehawk pilot car that got the 1994 stuff removed and the 1995 stuff added.

Yes, that is the picture I have been looking at. White one is really a 94? Who would have guessed!? Just out of curiosity......how did you come across that bit of info? Not that I doubt you, it sounds like a corporate move....................

goes on the ashtray lid. every 95 hawk with 6speed ive ever seen has it there. seeing that you are building a clone you would want to put it in the normal position.
