The seats in my 01 hawk are in great shape. Now that i am driving the car more and really starting to enjoy it (great weather for the t-tops), i want to know from someone that has installed aftermarket racing seats how hard the install is and what additional hardware is needed. I have seen a few seats on ebay and local race shops that dont look too bad and they have universal mounting kits. Im wondering if thats all that is needed or if im going to have to fabricate something between my stock mounts and the universal sliders.
The idea is to hopefully keep my seats in perfect shape incase I take it to a show. I dont want to mess with the original hardware or make it impossible to place seats back in. Thanks in advance!
