Programmers

Post by 94hawk170 » Tue Jul 19, 2011 8:52 pm

Is there a programmer that works best for 1994 firehawk's that has just aftermarket exhaust? I plan on adding more performance parts but that's later on down the road

what other performance parts are you planning on adding?... for exhaust, i don't think you need a programmer/ tuner. PCM4less is 1 known alternative though for getting the PCM tuned for what ever upgrades you might be putting on

I don't think you need tuning with just headers either. Wait until you do more aggressive mods and get a mail order or dyno tune.

If you are going to do a motor build, don't waste your money on a programmer. You'll want to get a custom tune, not a one-size-fits-all tune from a programmer.
